York University’s Schulich School of Business has partnered with consultancy Deloitte to create the Deloitte Cognitive Analytics and Visualization Lab to foster advances in the visualization and interpretation of Big Data.

In the lab, housed in Schulich’s new Rob and Cheryl McEwen Graduate Study & Research Building, Master of Business Analytics students will work with faculty and industry experts to perform real-life analysis of clients’ Big Data issues.

The lab will also support teaching and research, and explore advances in predictive analytics, natural language processing, machine learning, analytics design and visualization, as well as data-based storytelling.

“Establishing the state-of-the-art Deloitte Cognitive Analytics and Visualization Lab at Schulich will enable both of our organizations to continue providing world-class expertise in business analytics.”
