Ontario’s universities, in partnership with colleges and student advocacy groups, are committed to the well-being and success of our students – the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, tradespeople and business and community leaders in the province.
Our institutions have made student mental health a priority, but we cannot meet this challenge alone. It is a shared responsibility that requires collective action through a ‘whole-of-community’ approach.
In our 2020 joint report, In It Together: Foundations for Promoting Mental Wellness in Campus Communities, Ontario’s Universities, Colleges Ontario, Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) and College Student Alliance (CSA) put forward our recommendations for helping meet the growing challenge of student mental health.
