Access to affordable transportation can be challenging for residents living in northern Ontario communities. In an effort to help mitigate this challenge, an Ontario Tech University student from Thunder Bay helped develop a software to make it easier and more affordable for residents in his hometown to travel within the city.
To help bring the idea to market, the university is providing the student and his co-founders with work space in its Brilliant Catalyst program – the university’s entrepreneurship and experiential learning hub – which specializes in supporting business solutions that address rural challenges.
