“Our students have been through a lot in the past year. Going into final exams this fall, this is one way we can let students know that we care about them and that we are thinking about them.”

Care boxes spread holiday cheer and well wishes during exams

To help ease stress during final exams, the University of Windsor provided 400 students with holiday care boxes.

Working together, staff at the Students’ Alliance, Student Centre and Office of Student Experience packed boxes with various locally-sourced items, wellness resources and snacks to provide some exam relief and as a way to spread holiday cheer. They also included brief messages of support, best wishes, or even advice from staff, faculty and alumni.

The goal was to support student wellness and academic success during a particularly difficult year.
