To facilitate leading-edge research that will help bring new discoveries forward in the fight against COVID-19, Brock University has switched unused lab computers back on in order to create a super network that enables more powerful collaborative research.
Through collaboration between the Faculty of Mathematics and Science and the Digital Scholarship Lab, Brock has leveraged the computer network to visualize protein structures contained in the COVID-19 virus and to study the atoms of the antibodies for efficacy, with the hope that the data will help scientists understand how it works and bring us closer to the solution.
