Creating Supportive Spaces on Campus for Indigenous Students

To help support the needs of Indigenous students and learners, Queen’s University partnered with Indigenous community members to establish the Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre (4D).

4D offers a range of culturally relevant services, including academic advising, counselling, study spaces and student programming, to best support Indigenous students and learners throughout their university education.

The centre also acts as a hub for the larger university community, providing campus partners, staff and faculty with a range of services, such as research assistance, teaching support, classroom presentations and community outreach, to support Indigenous cultural education and inclusion.
