To help meet the growing provincial demand for highly skilled talent in financial technology (FinTech), the University of Windsor and Rocket Innovation Studio, a Windsor-based technology company, is delivering a series of workshops for students in the university’s Master of Applied Computing (MAC) program.
The workshops focus on helping fill the skills gap in FinTech – a rapidly growing field in Ontario. The workshops will provide students with work-integrated learning opportunities that will help them see first-hand how technology can improve consumer experiences across the province.
By connecting students with industry and building their skillset, the university will also help support local economic growth and diversification in Windsor-Essex.
