To encourage the development of innovative, work-integrated learning opportunities in partnership with students, Western University has created the Experiential Learning Innovation Scholars Program.
Learning opportunities include simulations, field courses, industry partnerships, case-based learning and community projects. The program is developed for and with students and includes projects such as learning the chemistry and business of a perfect cup of coffee.
The program allows students to increase and apply disciplinary knowledge, develop transferable skills, clarify interests and values, strengthen employability and collaborate with their communities.
