“Using the Open Science Framework allows students to still share their work with the broader research community, which ultimately increases the visibility of their research and celebrates the breadth of undergraduate research opportunities here at Nipissing.”

Finding new ways to celebrate undergraduate research

For many students, conferences are a unique highlight of their university experience, providing a learning opportunity to showcase their work in a professional setting.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers of Nipissing University’s Undergraduate Research Conference found a new way to celebrate student research.

Students were invited to share their work with the broader research community using the Open Science Framework, a web application that can be used to share posters, presentation slides or art pieces. For more information, visit Nipissing University.
