With the goal of fostering inclusive and supportive communities throughout the cycle of a research project, Queen’s University launched equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) training modules tailored to its research community.
The training modules cover key topics, such as recruiting, teambuilding and fostering a sense of belonging, which can be applied by researchers across each stage of a project. The university also provides researchers with access to a list of resources and contact information through its Wise Practices for Research webpage, which connects them to an advisor who can provide further guidance and feedback on EDI best practices.
