Fostering innovative approaches to online learning

Helping faculty deliver engaging and enhanced online teaching and learning technologies has taken on heightened importance during COVID-19. Nipissing University is responding with the appointment of two new Teaching Chairs focused on online teaching. 

Dr. Sandra Goldsworthy is a nurse education leader who is recognized as a simulation and critical care expert, researcher and author. Dr. Mark Wachowiak is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics and is a graduate program faculty member in Kinesiology and Environmental Science/Environmental Studies.  

Together, these faculty members are promoting evidence-based teaching innovation to ensure students receive the best learning experience possible.
