Helping reduce mental health stigma on campus
Share this story

Stigma surrounding mental health can sometimes be a barrier for students seeking help. To support the early intervention of mental health crises, the Campus Wellness office at the University of Waterloo offers mental health training programs for students, faculty and staff.

The programming includes both self-guided and webinar-based training that equips community members with the tools they need to recognize and respond to an individual in distress.
