To help support COVID-19 rapid antigen testing reporting during the height of the Omicron wave, two Ontario university students – one studying at Carleton University and the other at Western University – developed the website Rapid Response Ontario.
Designed with accessibility in mind, the platform helped Ontarians report their results quickly, by prompting users to select their language preference, report their result and submit their response. Additionally, the students are making the data gathered from the website available to public health experts in an effort to support ongoing COVID-19 research.
