Foresight and creativity are two essential ingredients for ensuring students and faculty have access to learning resources in these challenging times.
Ryerson University has invested to expand its digital content considerably this year. They have, for example, purchased laptops and WiFi hotspots to loan students and implemented scan and deliver and contactless print pickup initiatives. It also offers virtual research assistance and is working with faculty to teach online research skills to classes.
Making research materials more affordable, accessible and equitable will ensure students and faculty can continue to benefit from the library’s extensive collections and services.
