Community partnerships help increase access to vaccines and strengthen regional efforts.
As part of its COVID-19 vaccination roll-out, the Regional Municipality of Durham and Durham Region Public Health partnered with both Ontario Tech University and Durham College to designate the shared Campus Ice Centre as the region’s Oshawa vaccination clinic location.
The clinic further supported the community and those most at risk by increasing vaccine eligibility and access to students participating in in-person clinical placements and employees who provide one-on-one support to students with special needs.
