Inspiring Future Engineers Through a Love of STEM

General Motors of Canada and UOIT have partnered to provide learning opportunities to children in elementary and secondary schools that inspire a love of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Thanks to this partnership, more than 8,500 students in the Durham Region are gaining access to summer camps and school programming that will demonstrate how STEM connects to their everyday lives, and teachers are being offered programs that equip them with the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to integrate STEM into the classroom.
