First responders play an important role in the health and safety of our communities. To ensure their well-being, students at Ontario Tech University developed a smartphone app for Durham Regional Police Services (DPRS) to consolidate all mental health services and programs available to employees. The app is installed on all DPRS smartphones making important services readily accessible.
Once tested in the field for several months, the app will be available to other emergency services across the province to ensure all essential workers can access these critical resources.
