“More than ever, legal scholars must be aware of, and respond to, the many social, legal and ethical issues that have arisen during this pandemic.”

Online courses reflect COVID-19 learnings

To give students the unprecedented opportunity to learn from researchers, experts and leaders dealing with COVID-19, the University of Ottawa has developed courses that explore how the challenges we are facing in this time of disruption are influencing leaders and society as a whole.

While some existing courses have been adapted, others are new, with the goal to leverage current expertise in dealing with a pandemic and address the range of different perspectives in these uncertain times.

The courses cover a wide range of topics: from social, legal and ethical aspects, to leading research and heath care administration in a time of crisis. These courses take a deeper look at how COVID-19 has brought change to the forefront of our lives and how organizations have adapted their ways of thinking, leading and doing business across the province.
