From addressing housing to helping the City of Hamilton mitigate climate change, CityLAB is a critical partnership between the City and McMaster University.
Since 2017, CityLAB has created more than 159 projects across Hamilton with its 2022 projects focused directly on housing — from exploring the rental marketplace to finding tools for affordable housing in Hamilton.
The initiative fosters critical insights and data, where students gain invaluable work-integrated learning experience by engaging deeply in Hamilton’s urban environment while the City gains invaluable solutions.
