To help create safer COVID-19 screening processes and support essential businesses, a Brock University graduate student quickly adapted his exhibit booth design company to produce plexiglass booths for hospitals, grocery stores and hospitality businesses across Ontario.
Andrew Pittam, Vice-President of ASTOUND Group, and his team have expanded their operations to design and create custom plexiglass products that can be rapidly deployed to these essential organizations and businesses.
To date, the company has created and installed medical screening stations, built a rapid assessment centre and temporary hospital treatment rooms, as well as installed booths at essential businesses where there is a shortage of personal protective equipment to help keep front-line workers safe across Ontario.
