Student business incubator turns big ideas into a better world
Share this story

Creating a thriving community of entrepreneurial thinkers requires an innovative and collaborative space.

Lakehead University’s business incubator, Ingenuity, is fostering mentor networks, prototype development and community partnerships. Ingenuity’s program is also tapping into the local community to help students take their business from idea to launch.

The goal is to contribute to Thunder Bay’s economic development through new businesses and job creation.

“Ingenuity has provided me with an invaluable connection to other entrepreneurs, in a space where we can work, collaborate, and dream together. Simply sparking a conversation or bouncing ideas off of a fellow entrepreneur would not be possible without such a dedicated space.”
