University research helps develop cutting-edge technology, knowledge and ideas that create a better future for all Ontarians. And to get the most out of that research, it’s essential for researchers to share their discoveries with their community, industry partners and local residents. The University of Ontario Institute of Technology’s (UOIT) Research Excellence Award Speaker Series exists precisely for that purpose. Every year, winners of the university’s Research Excellence Award, which recognizes excellence in research by UOIT faculty, give presentations of their work to the public.
