Upskilling and training to accelerate the growth of a local tech ecosystem

Providing a pipeline of talent to local companies in order to help them grow and flourish is key to the University of Ottawa’s satellite campus at Kanata North, Canada’s largest technology park.

The partnership brings researchers and industry together to solve complex technical challenges, commercialize innovations and recognize potential business opportunities. It also provides companies with access to cutting-edge equipment, labs, networks and highly skilled individuals.

The satellite campus was established just two years ago, but there are already nearly 300 University of Ottawa co-op students and more than 4,100 alumni working in the tech park.
