Virtual camp supports children and families

When the pandemic caused summer camps to close, University of Guelph students created “Virtually Together Camp”, an online camp for children across Ontario.

Inspired by their own summer camp experiences, Aden Morton-Ferguson and Evan Holmes created this program to provide kids with engaging activities, ranging from creating art to conducting science experiments – all led by university student camp leaders who specialize in the program areas they teach.

The camp enables kids to continue to stay busy and learn through interactive activities, while providing much needed support for children and their families during the pandemic.
