Work-integrated learning opportunities help local companies

Students need high-quality work-integrated learning opportunities to help ensure they successfully transition into the labour marketBusinesses and not-for-profits need help adapting to the challenges brought about by COVID-19. Algoma University and Mitacs are partnering to provide both.

The partnership is connecting students with relevant experience to businesses in need of research and development.

The joint program between the university and Mitacs, a non-profit organization that operates research and training programs, helps students build skills that Ontario’s economy needs now, and in the future, while contributing to Northern Ontario’s economic recovery.
