Helping mitigate cybersecurity risks in the community

Cybersecurity risks are increasing for both employees and employers, as more people work from home. To help mitigate personal and corporate risks, a panel of University of Waterloo experts and industry stakeholders are providing a number of suggestions for individuals, companies and policymakers.

From fraudsters and phishing scams to tracing apps and data collection, they are sharing information to help ensure companies are prepared before security issues arise and that policymakers across the province can make sound decisions around the use of technology.

The panel consists of experts in computer science, cryptography, public health, privacy and risk and compliance to discuss solutions to the cybersecurity and privacy issues that communities are facing.
