With student employment opportunities limited due to COVID-19, a group of student entrepreneurs used their summer to develop new products, services and start-ups through Ontario Tech University’s Brilliant Catalyst Incubator program.
One project, for example, developed a health analytic software that can help monitor a patient’s health markers from the home, hospital or long-term care facility – a solution that would help health-care workers identify health issues before they become a bigger health risk to the patient.
Ontario Tech’s Brilliant Catalyst provides students with the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills, innovate and test and refine their ideas though specialized workshops, mentorship and pitch competitions.
