Through a partnership with ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS), the world’s largest non-nuclear submarine builder, Western is developing technologies that range from AI to autonomous systems and multi-domain operations. Researchers are advancing solutions in areas like advanced networking, digital twins and sensor fusion, enabling reliable communication and data sharing in complex and remote environments.
